Nursery Design

I'm very close to finishing up Hugo's room.  It also functions as our guest room so it can't be too baby-baby-ish.  My inspiration started from a piece of a dingy seat I discovered while beachcombing last summer.  And I didn't want to be too kitchsy-nautical but definitely wanted a boaty-flair:

LEGO Land

If our LEGO-fanatical son, Sebastian, could have his way our home would look like this:

I think I would be driven crazy with all that colour & how about the crumbs in the cracks?  No gracias.  Nothing a good shellacking wouldn't take care of I guess...  I think I'd prefer these storage LEGO boxes:

{ stack-able & under-bed-store-able }

Apparently these can be ordered through Amazon but I didn't see them there.  They are for sale here but don't ship to the States or Canada.  These would be great for Sebastian's room or our playroom so I'm going to do some more sleuthing & I'll let you know what I find.

Longing for Delonge

Snooping around the internet today I stumbled upon Jennifer Delonge's website. Jennifer has some great products for your children's rooms or playrooms & even some stellar stuff for us 'big kids'. Check out this lovely turquoise settee ready for a little lady who lunches:
